Hanging onto summer!
Spend a fun and entertaining weekend filled with food and music at the 12th annual Lobster Festival in San Pedro. The world’s largest lobster festival is located at the Ports O’Call Village, only twenty minutes south of Downtown L.A. Plenty of fresh Maine lobster meals, street performers, pirates, bands, and shopping for arts and craft will all be provided. What better way to end the Summer!

The Local Love Event
An exciting 2-day independent design show will be in town, downtown LA to be exact, this weekend! With over 325 hand-selected designers and artists, attendees will have an opportunity to discover new designs, meet artists, and give back to the community. UNIQUE LA donates 10% of all ticket proceeds go to a non-profit every year. This year, the proceeds will be going to the literacy organization 826LA. Honda LA Marathon will be happening this Sunday, March 18th. Starting at Dodger Stadium in Downtown LA, the 26.2 mile journey will travel through Los Angeles, West Hollywood, Beverly Hills, the Veterans’ Administration and finally ends at Ocean Ave and California Ave in Santa Monica. The LA Marathon is one of the largest road racing exposition in the world! Streets will be closed off on Sunday starting at 6 am. Please visit their website for all the details: LA MARATHON.

The 38th Annual Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach will begin toward and continue throughout this weekend. Internationally renowned singer LeAnn Rimes will open the ceremonies on April 14 when she sings the national anthem. Visit their website for more details on this exciting event.

On Sunday, April 15th, the streets of LA will be temporarily closed to car traffic and open to the public for recreational purposes. This is the 4th annual event hosted by CicLAvia so if you’re around Boyle Heights to Downtown, MacArthur Park to East Hollywood, El Pueblo/Olvera Street, and South LA on Sunday, be sure to check it out! There will be a variety of activities to see and listen along these routes.
